How does soft serve machine hire work?
Choose Soft Serve Starter, Soft Serve Party or Soft Serve Big Bash. We deliver the tabletop machine with mix, cones and serviettes, test it with you on site, and collect at the end of your hire.
What is included in each soft serve package?
The soft serve machine, soft serve mix, wafer cones, serviettes and full day hire. Soft Serve Starter from R 1 650, Soft Serve Party from R 1 900, Soft Serve Big Bash from R 2 200.
How long before the soft serve is ready?
Allow around 30 minutes after setup for the mix to freeze to serving consistency. We recommend having it running before guests arrive.
Which flavours are available?
Vanilla, chocolate and strawberry are our most popular mixes. Choose one flavour per machine or tell us your preference when you book.
Can I add toppings or a sundae bar?
Yes! Sprinkles, chocolate sauce, caramel and sundae bar toppings are available on request. Ask when you book.
Is the soft serve machine easy to use?
Very easy. We demonstrate on delivery. Pull the handle, swirl into a cone, and serve. Our team is on hand if you need help.
Do I need to clean the machine?
No. We collect the machine at the end of your hire day.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. A standard power outlet close to the serving area is needed.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes in shade on a stable table. Hot direct sun affects consistency, so a covered patio works beautifully.
What if I need more cones or mix?
Extra 2.5L mix bags are R 200. Let us know your guest count when booking and we will size your pack correctly.
